Van Wert City Schools is committed to the safety and health of our students and staff. We want to inform you that we have recently received information that an employee of Van Wert Middle School tested positive for COVID-19 on November 10th, 2020.
We are working closely with the Van Wert County Health Department and anyone identified as a close contact has been notified by the health department or Van Wert Middle School as a part of our COVID-19 investigation. If you were not contacted, your child has not been in close contact with this staff member. Cleaning and disinfecting of the exposed area has been completed.
